Students are required to conduct themselves with dignity and decorum at all times within the college campus. Acts of indiscipline, misconduct, or behavior that disrupts the academic environment are strictly prohibited. Consumption or possession of alcohol, tobacco, narcotics, or any prohibited substances is not allowed on campus. Students must respect college property, faculty members, staff, and fellow students. Any form of damage to institutional property or involvement in unauthorized activities will invite disciplinary action.
Students are expected to attend classes regularly and actively participate in academic activities such as lectures, practical sessions, seminars, and assignments. Compliance with the academic calendar, submission of assignments within deadlines, and adherence to curriculum requirements are mandatory. Students must follow the instructions of faculty members and comply with academic policies prescribed by the institution and affiliating university.
Regular attendance is compulsory for all students. Students must maintain the minimum attendance percentage prescribed by Manonmaniam Sundaranar University to be eligible for examinations. Absence without valid reasons or prior permission may result in disciplinary action and loss of attendance eligibility. Students are advised to inform the college authorities in advance in case of unavoidable absence. Late entry into classes without proper authorization is not permitted.
Boys: Students are required to wear formal trousers and neatly tucked-in
collared shirts. Jeans, T-shirts, and fashionable attire are not permitted. Hair should be
neatly groomed, and hair coloring or bleaching is strictly prohibited.
Girls: Students are expected to wear traditional attire such as churidar
with sleeves. Deep necklines, short salwars, jeans, skirts, and fashionable outfits are not
allowed. Hair coloring or bleaching is strictly prohibited. Modesty and decency in dressing
are mandatory at all times.
Students must adhere strictly to examination rules prescribed by the university and the college. Identity cards must be carried during examinations. Malpractice in any form is strictly prohibited and will result in severe disciplinary action as per university regulations. Students are expected to maintain silence and discipline in examination halls. Absence from internal or university examinations without valid reasons may lead to penalties or loss of examination eligibility.
Students must maintain cleanliness and order within the campus. Use of mobile phones during class hours is restricted unless permitted for academic purposes. Unauthorized meetings, gatherings, or political activities are not allowed. Ragging in any form is strictly prohibited and punishable under law. Students are expected to follow safety instructions and cooperate with college authorities to maintain a secure and harmonious campus environment.
